Really bad service, we order take out, they told us 15-20 minutes but we waited 45 minutes....I don't mind the wait but they don't even check up on us or update us about our order status....the manager told us others ppl order the same time with us so just wait....what a bad management way of talking to your customers. While we waiting there are ppl waiting to be seated and none of the server come to greet them and let them know to wait for a minute, manager is no where to be found....Bad service and Bad management.....I would not recommend this place but if u want to go here plan out 3-4 hours.....

Ate here on 7/15/15, service was very quick and the food was excellent. This is our go to Mexican restaurant while in vacation. Salsa and chips were very good, the nightly special, chimichangas were great. Definitely recommend.

My Family and I were very pleased here. The complimentary chips and salsa were very good. In fact the salsa was very, very good. It was flavorful and spicy. We had 2 bowls of each. I got the enchilada special dinner. It was good. Actually the cheese enchilada, which I usually think is a waste, was very tasty. The chicken and beef enchiladas were good as well. Everyone liked the flavor of the rice and beans. The dishes only come with one or the other, we asked for both intending on paying the extra charge but they did not charge us extra. Bonus! The carnitas chimichanga was also very tasty, in fact it is what I will order when I go back. They serve their dishes on nice looking plates and the food and plates are hot, the way you like it. Warm to the very last bite. Definitely worth it.

Went to this restaurant to meet some friends. When we got there we were seated quickly and our order was taken fast. The wait staff was on the ball getting our drinks and food out to us. The food was delicious. Everything from the chips and salsa to the entree. It was all great. Definitely coming back again.

The food here is decent, pretty normal Mexican food. My tacos carnitas were dry, but everyone else seemed to enjoy their stuff, so perhaps just avoid the pork. They did bring my friend the wrong dish... twice. But it was twice in a row, and they finally brought the right dish after that, so it was only a total delay of like five minutes. If you do go here, I HIGHLY recommend you get a frozen strawberry margarita, however! They're cheap and totally delicious. And I don't even like tequila.

Where do I begin. Well I guess I should say I'm from Texas so I've had some damn good Mexican food. So I ordered enchiladas and asked for fajita chicken instead of shredded chicken, the waitress wasn't sure what I was talking about so she asked the manager and he said $1 extra. Ok sure whatever. WOW are they completely confused on what "fajita" means. My "fajita chicken" were sautéed chunks of chicken. Not grilled fajita chicken. Not just that, you're suppose to lightly fry the tortilla, dip it in tomato sauce then roll your enchilada with your choice of meat. WELL these tortillas were straight out of a bag! Dry stiff tortilla! Literally threw some meat rolled it and called it an enchilada. What a joke. My husband ordered the tacos. Again, cold flour tortillas with chunks of chicken and a side of onions and cilantro. Nothing special. Not worth it. My daughter ordered beef nachos... So why did they send out shredded white cheese instead of queso? Needless to say she didn't eat them. The beef was greasy too. Honestly the only good thing were the chips and salsa. Here's my tip for anyone reading this that works there. Tell the cook to YouTube and buy some authentic Mexican food cookbooks and learn the proper way to make enchiladas. And figure out what "fajita meat" actually is. I hate to tear places apart, but maybe they'll take some tips and improve their menu.

Came in last night with my family. Had the beef mini chimis to start. They were very good. I had the steak and shrimp with onions rice & salad. My husband had the seafood chipotle. Be careful as this dish is very hot. The portions were more than generous. Also had the special which offered $3.50 margaritas. Not much alcohol but you can't expect much for the price. I would dine here again.

Good food and friendly staff. My parents are locals and come here often. The enchiladas in green sauce is excellent and hot. They described it as hot and they did not lie. The chips were warm and crunchy and the salsa had a nice spicy kick. Everyone in our party of four enjoyed their meals and the prices are very reasonable.

This is a nice place to have some Mexican food. They have a bar with specials every day and the place was nice and clean. Very friendly staff and you get a nice portion of salsa and chips as soon as you sit down. The "Grande Special" was very good with everything being super super hot (watch the plates) and seems to have one of everything on the menu included. Best re-fried beans I have had in a while. Even this big boy brought home some food as the portion was very large. Two people came around the $25 mark with tip. We will return.

We go to this restaurant every year during our annual "pilgrmage" to North Myrtle Beach, and we absolutely love this place. The food is really good (I especially recommend the Popeye Chicken) and they make their own hot sauce (VERY hot by the way). The place is not fancy, but if you want authentic Mexican food, friendly service, and reasonable prices, this restaurant is worth a visit.

Tasty tasty tasty cheese dip - the white, creamy, runny kind. Salsa is pretty good; chunky and not very hot. Chips seem to be made in-house and are yellow corn (as opposed to Tostitos-style), which are always bonuses.

This restaurant is a favorite of ours, we probably go a couple of times a month. My husband always enjoys the chicken tacos, I love the enchiladas. Service is always courteous and prompt, the chips and salsa are fresh, and the prices are reasonable. They also make an excellent frozen margarita.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
